Home – We have gone public!

CCCOA (Cedar Creek Cabin Owners Association) has gone public!  Our new name is Cedar Creek Mutual Domestic Water Consumers Association (CCMDWCA).  We operate as a co-operative to furnish water for domestic use to property owners in Red Cedar, Middle Cedar, and West Cedar subdivisions near Ruidoso, NM. Please refer to the By-laws regarding the organization of the corporation. Refer to the Rules to understand the responsibilities of members. Cabin Owners’ general meeting is the first Saturday of July each year.

To protect the capability of the water system the watering of lawns, gardens, trees, etc. is not permitted. Members are to close the water shut off valve when the cabin is not in daily use. This protects the member’s personal property too by preventing interior flooding.

Members share the cost of operation by paying annual Dues June 1 of each year. Members are allotted 6,000 gallons of water per month with no charge, using more than that costs $20/1,000 gallons, or part thereof. Additional overages are billed at $40/1,000 gallons.

Payments to CCMDWCA are handled by the office of Dan Austin, CPA, PC.

Notify Michael Bellon, Water Manager, of water service problems. Members are responsible for maintaining the fixtures from the CCMDWCA meter to their homes. Please help us by inspecting around your cabin foundation, your yard, and roadways for wet spots.

Contact the President or a Director of your subdivision with other concerns, or information.
